Sandy gave me this award. Thank you and I am honored to be selected.

I know that some of you don't like this sort of thing so I tried not to select you, or if you were selected previously for some other award, I tried to choose someone different.

To carry this forward, I am to select 7 blogs and pass along the award. Please just take this for what it is. Do not feel pressured into passing the award forward.

Here are the non-rules:
1) Add the logo of the award to your blog.
2) Add a link to the person who awarded it to you (as shown above).3
) Nominate at least seven other blogs.
4) Add links to those blogs on your blog.
5) Leave a message for your nominees on their blogs. - A long-time blogging friend, wonderful quilter and a very funny person - Amy has so many interests, genealogy, stamping, knitting and more that her posts are always interesting. - Deb is always fun. She is now an avid sock knitter. - her posts always have a human interest thread. She is also the author of "Wrapped In Comfort - Knitted Lace Shawls" - Check out Melissa's beautiful crocheted baby items. We have a deal...she is going to learn how to knit and I am going to learn how to crochet.
Have fun reading these blogs and hopefully make a new blogging friend.
Happy Knitting!

  1. Thank you! I don't have room visually on my blog, (nor the computer literacy for posting it), but I very much appreciate it!

  2. Congrats, and you've been tagged again. I've tagged you for six random things about meme on my blog :)

  3. Woo Hoo! Congrats on your award. And thank you so much!!!

  4. Thank you so much! What a lovely surprise. I love your blog, too. Can I link back to you?

The socks are fabulous. I like to do 2x2 ribbing, too. That's all I do for Meital and my MIL, since their legs are so slim, too. Have fun with Ewey! I know it will be a blast no matter what. She is so much fun.

  5. Oh my! See what happens when you don't read other blogs for almost a whole week ! Thanks for the award Joansie- too bad Force doesn't have an eblog :P I love ,love ,love the camo socks- it's getting cool enough to wear mine you made- I'm so excited as I love them so. Have fun with Ewey this weekend at the show

  6. Thaks for the commnet about the socks -- yes we do have similar tastes! I did get the pattern links from your blog!

I did not have to alter them, I just did the pattern "up-side-down". Some partterns don't look good in reverse,so I have to play around with it sometimes.
